The Zelden van Passe mill is an historic watermill located on Meerburger Watering in the village of Zoeterwoude. The mill was built in 1642, and was used to drain the 490 hectare Great Westinder Polder until 1952, when a mechanical drainage system took over its duties. The Zelden vam Passe Mill was bought and restored by the Rijnland Mill Foundation in 1962. The Zelden van Passe mill is open to the public, and guided tours can be arranged upon request.
