The Wissink’s Mill is a corn mill that was built in 1802 for use by farmers in the town of Usselo. In 1921 the mill was sold to Mr. J. B. Hake, who converted it to a museum. The mill was threatened with demolition in 1950, but was saved by Mr. Van Heek, who arranged for major restoration of the mill in 1957. Today, the mill is owned by the Wissink Mill Foundation, and it is used to produce a variety of grain products. The mill is open to the public on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
