The Wadenoijen Polder Mill was built in 1887 to replace an older mill that had been destroyed in a fire. The mill was bought by the Wadenoijen Polder District in 1953, and later sold to the Tielerwaard Polder District. Today, the mill is owned by the Gelders River Mill Foundation. The mill is open to the public, and tours are available by appointment only. Tours can be arranged for groups of up to 50 people.
