The Waardenburg Corn Mill was built in the mid 18th century to replace an older, less efficient post mill. The Waardenburg Corn Mill was originally considered to be the property of the Waardenburg Castle. The mill was seriously damaged after a flood in 1995. Restoration work was carried out in 1996, and as a part of the work the mill was raised by 1.5 meters. The mill is in working order, and is open to the public, with tours available by appointment.
