The Vlodroppermolen is also known as ’The New Mill’, and ’The Lower Mill’. It is an historic water mill located in the centre of the village of Vlodrop. The mill was built in 1875 for the miller P. A. Cremers, and was in use as a commercial corn mill until the 1970s. The mill has a unique water turbine, and because of this is considered to be of great historical value. The mill is currently in the process of being restored.
