The Uitwijkse Mill was built in the 18th century to serve the Heusden and Altena polder. There were originally 49 mills serving the polder, but only a handful of them remain today. There is a small fireplace and beadstead inside the mill, which were used by the miller. The Uitwijkse Mill was restored by J. Forest and Son in 1967, and is now ran on a voluntary basis. Tours of the mill are available by appointment.
