The Tweemanspolder Mill No. 4 is one of four mills that served the 460 hectare Tweemaanspolder. The mill was built in 1722, and was in use until the early 1950s, when a mechanical pumping station was built to take over the duties of the mills. In 1953, the ’Foundation for the Conservation of Mills on the Tweemanspolder’ bought Tweemanspolder Mill No. 4 and restored it. The mill can regularly be seen in operation, and is open to the public during selected public holidays.
