The Tweemanspolder Mill No. 2 is one of four mills that served the 460 hectare Tweemaanspolder. The mill was built in 1729, and was in use until 1952, when a mechanical pumping station took over the duties of the mills. In 1953, the Tweemanspolder Mill No. 2 was bought by the ’Foundation for the Conservation of Mills on the Tweemanspolder’. The mill can regularly be seen in operation, and is open to the public during selected public holidays.
