The Wijnsermolen is an historic polder mill located on Wyns in the town of Wijns. The mill was built in 1871, and was originally used to drain the Wynserpolder. The Wijnsermolen was in active use until 1975. In 1993, the mill was bought by the Fryske Mill Foundation, who began restoration work the following year. The Wijnsermolen is open to the public, and guided tours of the mill are available upon request.
