The Volharding Mill (also known as the Edens Mill) is a historic corn mill located on Nassaustraat in the town of Winschoten. The mill was built in 1763 as a pelmolen, to process barley and other grains. The mill has had several owners, including several generations of the Edens family. The Volharding mill was sold to the town in 1960. The mill is still in use today, and work is being done to improve the wind profile of the mill so that it will run more efficiently. The Volharding Mill is open to the public every Saturday.
