The Volharding Mill was built in 1891 for Mr H. van Hitshuizen. It is a round stones beltmill and was originally used as a corn mill. The mill has had several owners, including J. W. Willemsen, and C. W. Mentink, and G. Schothuis. In 2006, the mill was sold to the Waszkiewicz-Harmsen family. The Volharding Mill can be seen in operation when the weather is suitable, and tours of the mill are available upon request.
