The Vilsteren Mill

The Vlisteren Mill was built in 1858, and has played a very important part in the history of the town of Vlisteren. The mill was used to grind grain supplied by local farmers for over 100 years, and supplied flour for local bakeries, and feed for local cattle. The mill became a listed building in 1967, and is now maintained by the ’Friends of Vilsteren Mill’ foundation. The mill is open to the public, and tours are available upon request.
