The Swan Mill
Weelsloot, Westzaan - Netherlands

Map

The Swan Mill is a traditional meadow mill. The exact date of construction of The Swan Mill is unknown. The mill was bought the ’Het Pink’ horticultural association in 1947, and it is thought that the mill was already quite old at the time, as it was in need of serious restoration. The mill suffered heavy damage during a storm in 2004, but was promptly restored to working order, and as part of the restoration the mill was expanded. The Swan Mill is open to the public.
