The Rhine and Sunday mill was built in 1745. It was originally called the ’Rhine and Son’, but was re-named to the ’Rhine and Sunday’ when it was bought by the town in 1912. The mill was seriously damaged during a storm in 1948, and was not restored until 1977. Today, the mill is in working order and is used to grind flour for local bakeries. There is an organic butcher’s store on the ground floor. The mill is open to the public every Saturday.
