The Prinsenhof Mill was built in the early 18th century. It was used as a pelmolen to peal barley and other grains until the mid 20th century. Today, the mill has also been used to grind sawdust into wood flour, for the production of linoleum. The Prisenhof mill was bought by the Zaansche Mill Association in 1960, and is now ran on a voluntary basis. The mill is open to the public during the Summer.
