The Old Mill was built in 1799 on the behalf of Jan Carel Osy, the owner of the Wijchen castle and its associated estate. The mill was sold to Mr Kleyn in an auction in 1863, and his descendants owned the mill until 1970, when it was sold to the town of Wijchen. The mill is located on the top of a hill in the middle of the village. The hill also contains burial mounds from the Iron Age and Roman times. The mill is open to visitors every Thursday and Saturday.
