The New Mill is a relatively modern corn mill in the town of Veenendaal. The mill was built in 1911, to replace a smaller post mill of the same name. For many years there was a second mill near The New Mill, known as ’The Old Mill’. The Old Mill was demolished in 1991 and replaced with a monument. The New Mill is currently used as a training facility for apprentice millers. There is a small shop on the ground floor of the mill, which sells flour and other grain products. Tours of the mill are available by appointment.
