The Lion Windmill is a historic corn mill located on the eastern side of the village of Zeerijp. The mill was built in 1865, to replace a post mill that had previously served the area. The mill has had several owners, with the most recent being F. Nienhuis, who sold the mill to the town in 1963. Today, the mill is cared for by Mr. J. Korf and Mr K. Heunen. The Lion Mill is open to the public every Saturday.
