The Friendship Mill was built in 1872 to replace ’The Old Mill’, which once stood on Molenstraat. The Old Mill has been closed down and replaced with a monument. The Friendship Mill has an unusual square stone foundation, which once served as a home for the miller and his family. The mill is now owned by the town of Veenendaal, and is open to the public. Tours of the mill are available by appointment only.
