The Faljerilmolen

The Faljerilmolen is a relatively modern water mill located on the southern Faljeril island in the Kagerplassen Lakes. The mill was built in 1935 by Mr Sepers of Hazerswoude, to serve the Faljeril island. The Faljerilmolen is a small windmill of the ’wipmolen’ variety. This design was very common in the 18th and 19th century, and is one of the oldest kinds of mill in the Netherlands. The mill is now owned by the Rhineland Mill Foundation.
