Map

The Arend, or ’The Eagle’, is a working corn mill located on Akkerstraat in the town of Wouw. The mill was built in 1811 for Jacobus Aerden. In 1825, the mill was seriously damaged by a fire, but was restored later that year. The mill was sold to Jacobus Potters in 1925, and is still owned by the Potters family today. The Arend mill is open to the public every Wednesday afternoon, and every Sunday afternoon.
