The Stadhuis in Zutphen is an elegant building of Neoclassical design. The main facade of the Stadhuis is decorated with ornate military themed carvings, in a style similar to that of ancient Rome. The inside of the Stadhuis has been modernised, and features a clean and minimalistic design. Not far from the Stadhuis is the Drogenapstoren one of the old city gates, that takes its name from Thomas Drogenap, the town trumpeter.
