The St Martinus Kerk (or, St Martins Church) in Venlo is a wonderful example of the rich history of the town. The church was built in the seventeenth century, and has retained a lot of its magnificence, despite having been severely damaged after bombings occured in 1944. Careful reconstruction and restoration has ensured that the church is still an imposing and impressive part of the landscape of the town.
