St Gertrudskerk in Workum is located near the Waag, just off the central square. The church is the largest medieval church in Friesland, and has a small museum area containing an interesting collection of eighteenth century paraphernalia, some related to religion, and some to the history of the city of Workum. It is wise to confirm opening hours with the VVV if visiting during off peak months.
