The Rhine and Weert Mill was built in 1892 to replace an old post mill that had originally been a part of the Beverweerd Castle estate. The Rhine and Weert is a tall ’stellingmolen’ corn mill, and was used as a lookout point by German soldiers during the Second World War. Today, the mill is maintained by the Werkhoven Corn Mill Foundation, and is used to produce feed for animals. The mill is open to the public every Saturday.
