The Paaltjasker in Wergea is a modern ’Tjasker’ windmill located on Warstienserdyk in the town of Wergea. The mill was built in 1997 by Seids Wobbes, who used it as a drainage mill, and also as his home. The mill is a classic, wooden structure, and is relatively small, with a flight of just 4.86 metres. Despite it’s relatively recent construction, the Paaltjasker is a fine example of a classical Dutch windmill.
