The Nieuwe Hofmolen is an historic polder mill located on the Hofpolder in the town of Warmond. The mill was built in 1859, and was originally called the ’Veermolen’. In 1940, the mill was illegally demolished, and the structure used as firewood. The perpetrators were caught and punished. The mill was rebuilt 1981, and is now used as a reserve mill for the Hofpolder. The mill is open to the public.
