The Centrum voor Natuur en Landschap, (or, Centre for Nature and Landscape) is located just east of Terschelling. It features a 40,000 litre aquarium which lets visitors get up close to a wide variety of marine life. There is also a nature museum and exhibition centre, which provides a wealth of information on the local flora and fauna, and how the landscape has changed over the years. The centre is open to visitors every day during the summer months, but hours vary and it is best to call to confirm times.
