The Nationall Museum van Speelklok tot Pierement (National Museum from Chimes to Barrel Organs) is housed in a 13th century former church, close to Centraal Station. The museum features a collection of around 600 mechanical music machines, some dating back as far as the 17th century. The assortment includes fairground organs, barrel organs similar to those still seen on Dutch streets, and a piano controlled by punched rolls. The final exhibit on the tour is a music-hall complete with a classic organ sing-along.
