Museum Het Oude Raadhuis
Wijk 2-2, 8321 EP Urk - Netherlands

Map
Urk is a small fishing town which was once separated from the mainland. Over the years the separation produced a close knit community which had its own dialect and their own variation of the national costume. Now that the town is part of the mainland, the individuality of the island has gradually eroded, but some locals still wear the traditional dress, and a lot of the island’s history has been preserved in the Museum Het Oude Raadhuis.
