The Museum Het Catharijneconvent is housed in the old St. Catherine’s Convent, and holds a large collection of medieval religious items, including various works of art, paintings, relics, carvings and religious robes. The exhibits trace the development and evolution of Christian denominations in Holland from the 8th century up to modern times. There is a cafe with a terrace looking onto the courtyard, where visitors can take some time to relax after exploring the museum.
