The Museum De Ronde Venen is located on the Herenweg in the town of Vinkeveen. It is a museum devoted to the history of the round peats in the Vinkeveen area. The museum has regular exhibitions devoted to the peats and their role in the evolution of the town. The museum is open three days a week (four days a week in the summer). The building is licensed to perform wedding ceremonies, and those interested in getting married there, ceremonies can be held on days that the museum is closed to the general public.
