The Molen Otten is an 18th century water-driven mill located on Molengats in the town of Wilkre. The mill was built in 1776, and was originally used as a corn and oil mill. The mill was converted into an electricity generating mill in 1986. One of the wheels can still be used to crush grain, and is used for demonstration purposes. The Molen Otten is privately owned, and is open to the public, tours can be arranged upon request.
