The Mill Van Bats in Vessen is a historic corn mill. It was built in 1777, and was expanded in 1888 with a steam engine so that it could be used during times when the wind was low. The engine was converted to a petrol one in 1908, and then upgraded again to a diesel one in 1945. Today, the mill is owned by the Molenbezit Foundation. Tours of the mill are available by appointment only.
