The Langwert Mill is a relatively modern watermill located on the road between Leeuwarden and Bolsward in the town of Winsum. It was built in 1979, to replace an older mill which had been destroyed in a fire in 1974. the mill is owned by Littenseradiel County, and is still in use today. The Langwert Mill can be seen in operation almost every Sunday afternoon, and is open to the public.
