The Landzigt mill in Zuid Beijerland is a historic stone corn mill. It was built in 1857, to replace an older wooden corn mill that dated back to 1659. The inscription on the foundation stone indicates that it was laid by the 7-year-old son of the owner of the mill. The mill is ran on a voluntary basis, and in the 1990s extensive restoration work was carried out by a group of young mill makers. The mill is open to the public two days a week.
