The Koningslaagte is a classic dutch polder mill that was built in 1878. It has an octagonal base, and the sails have a flight of 22 meters. The mill was in active use until 2002, when it suffered severe damage when the hood and rear rods collapsed. The mill has recently been restored to working order, and is now maintained by Mr. H. J. Berghuis. Tours of the the mill are possible by appointment only.
