The Kasteel-Museum Sypesteyn is a castle that has been converted into an art gallery and museum. There has been a castle at the site of the current building for several centuries. The existing building was constructed in 1884 by Van Sypesteyn, following research into the design of the original castle. The musem holds the collection of Van Sypesteyn, containing portraits, porcelain, clocks, silver, and sculptures. The gardens are laid out in a 16th century style, with an interesting collection of exotic trees.
