The village of Vogelenzang is quite small, with a population of just 2,260. One of the main attractions in the village is the ’Huis te Vogelenzang’, or, ’House at Vogelenzang’. The house was built sometime in the 17th century by the Counts of Holland, and was re-built to a neoclassical design around 200 years later. Today, the estate features 80 hectares of park grounds, including some beautiful pastures and coastal dunes.
