The Hope is Living Mill is an historic polder mill located on Eerste Elsgeesterweg in the town of Voorhout. The mill was built in 1783, where it served the 85 hectare Kamphuizen polder. The mill was moved to its current location in 1999, where it took over the husbandry of the Elsgeesterpolder, which was the site of the famous ’Flora’ flower auction. The Hope is Living mill is now owned by the Rhineland Mill Foundation.
