The Heilig Hart Kerk, or ’Holy Heart of Jesus Church’, is located on Kerklaan in the town of Vinkeveen. It is a Catholic church, and was constructed in the late 19th century, and inaugurated by Archbishop PM Snickers on the 23rd July 1883. The church has a tall tower, with a beautiful neo-Gothic appearance, designed by the architect Alfred Tepe. Three stained glass windows were donated to the church in the early 1900s by the Vredendaal family. Each window depicts a different biblical scene.
