The Gemeentemuseum Weesp is located on the second floor of the Old Town Hall in Weesp. The building was built by Jacob Otten Husley between 1772, and 1776, and was once used as a Court of Justice as well as the seat for the Municipality. The museum holds a collection of 18th century Dutch Porcelain, as well as several paintings of the area throughout history, including some by 17th Century artist Gijsbert Jansz. Sybillia, who was also Mayor of the town for a short time.
