The De Vriendschap Mill is a non-working tower mill located on Utrechtseweg in the town of Weesp. The name is Dutch for ’The Friendship Mill’. Wind power was once a very important part of Dutch life. This particular mill was used to grind grain to make flour. The mill is no longer operational, but is still an interesting sight, and visitors will learn a lot about this interesting part of Dutch history.
