The De Valk corn mill was built in 1860, and sold to the Van Beekhuizen family, who owned the mill until the late 1900s. The mill stood idle for 35 years before it was bought by the Kampen County, who began a major restoration project. Today, the mill is ran by two millers, Mr Gerrit Boom and Mr Bert va Pijkeren. The mill is open to the public, but opening times vary depending on the season, so it is best to call to confirm the opening times before visiting.
