The De Onderneming Mill, or ’The Company Mill’ is the only remaining working mill in the town of wissenkerke. The mill was built in 1860 by the son of the widow P. Versluys Looff, to replace an older, decommissioned mill. The mill was restored for 400,000 guilders in the year 2000. The restoration was so costly because of a large crack in the hull, which had allowed water to enter the mill caused the structure to rot. Today, the mill is in working order, and is open to the public every Monday to Saturday.
