The De Hoop mill is a traditional windmill located on Lagendijk in the town of Uitgeest. The mill was built in 2004 for the De Hoop Industrial Park Heritage Foundation. The mill is a replica of a much older windmill that had been destroyed by a fire in 1911. The De Hoop Mill is open to the public every Saturday during the months of November to March, and Tuesday to Sunday during the rest of the year. Opening hours vary, and current opening hours are listed on the mill web site.
