The Boterhuismolen is an historic polder mill located on the Zijldijk in the town of Warmond. The mill was built in 1744, and was used to drain the 305 hectare Boterhuis polder until 1959. The Boterhuismolen was bought by the Rhineland Mill foundation in 1962, and the foundation restored the mill in 1953. The mill is now ran on a voluntary basis, and is open to the public. Guided tours of the Boterhuismolen are available upon request.
