The Boscafe is located in Vijlen, close to Vaals. The Boscafe ’t Hijgend Hert’ is located at 260 metres altitude – only a little lower than the highest point of the hills. The cafe is well worth a visit, as it boasts some spectacular panoramic views, and many interesting birds can be spotted circling in the air. The establishment has a very traditional atmosphere, with a stone fireplace, hearty meals, and a variety of beers. The Boscafe is a starting point for many interesting country walks.
