The Berenschots Water Mill was built in 1749 on the river Slinge for the Janssen family. It was originally used as a corn mill. The Berenschots Water Mill has had several owners, including the Roerdink family who owned the mill from 1084 until 1911. In 1988 the mill was bought by J. G. W. Buunk, who converted the mill into a restaurant. The mill is open to the public during restaurant opening hours, and tours can be arranged for during times when the restaurant is closed.
