The Beatrix Mill was built in 1835 as a polder mill for the Alphen aan de Maas area. It originally had a different name, but was re-named in 1938 to celebrate the birth of Princess Beatrix. It was later converted to a corn mill. The mill has had several owners, and was sold to the Beuningen County in 1978. The mill was restored in 1987, and is still in use today. The Beatrix Mill is open to the public every Saturdy.
